Summer School Polytechnic University of Madrid 2018
The Polytechnic University of Madrid presents the first edition of the summer school in Spanish for international students. This school is integrated with other projects such as the DecaTech for English-speaking students. The objectives of this school are:
- Offer quality training in technological fields for Spanish-speaking university students.
- Promote an interaction between students from different universities introducing Spanish culture.
SUMMER SCHOOL COURSE OUTLINE
The courses last from June 17 to July 15, 2018 , including both training activities and cultural activities that may be carried out together with students from other international programs at the UPM. The training activities will include both external talks and technical visits to companies or other organizations. Classes will be held from Monday to Thursday in four or five hours a day (morning or afternoon session).
- The minimum number for a course to be taught is 15 students, and the maximum recommended number is 25.

Course objectives : The objective of the course is for students to acquire knowledge of the causes that generate significant impacts on the environment in the construction of buildings and infrastructures and to handle the LEED and ENVISION assessment tools for the certification of buildings and civil works developed by the US Green Building Council and the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure. |
