Complying with IAEA certifies that cities that carry the SAFE AND RESILIENT CITY SEAL have demonstrated compliance with certain functional, structural and non-structural measures, ensuring that:
Governance is stable socially, politically and economically, as well as previously planned and regulations are adequate.
Health systems are resilient and resourceful in cases of pandemics.
The city has plans in case of risks that may occur.
The mobility of the city is adequate.
Citizens have access to basic quality services, the city has adequate lighting and there are different types of services and centers for the population, such as nursing homes and funeral services.
The education system has resources for its development and is prepared for possible pandemics.
Citizens have security protection within the city.
The city has adequate cyber security that protects confidentiality and integrity.
