Pan American Congress on Safe Construction and Disaster Management

Engineers and architects must meet the demands of today’s society that want a world as safe as possible and proper disaster management. We have to improve prevention, response and recovery to adjust safety to the performances that are required of us. For this, it is necessary to debate and provoke research, innovation and development in matters of safety, to know well the nature in which we operate and to be able to limit our influence under the criterion of sustainability. The world demands and needs us and, as always, we will face this challenge with professionalism and transparency.

It is intended to create a permanent forum of professionals, researchers, teachers, officials, etc. so that all together, and under a rigorous system, we can present papers, ideas, advances and good practices and debate them. We have to create a permanent congress with biannual meetings in which we can manage the demands, trying to respond in the best possible way to what is demanded of us. In addition, digitally, it will be a permanent forum with a portal where best practices, advances, technical solutions, experiences, etc. are disclosed. all this so that any engineer and architect have the best information so that they can apply everything that is recognized and contributes to the best contribution or work.

The congress will have a permanent technical directory that will bring together the most recognized and influential people for the development of congress conclusions as well as to provide continuity to the conclusions of each congress.

At each congress, top-level speakers on the topics will be invited to let us know about everything that affects the objectives and demand actions from us so that Engineering and Architecture contribute to a safe and sustainable world.

It will also have a series of panels in which works will be presented that will be selected by pairs and anonymously to ensure their quality, timeliness and originality. All engineers and architects will be invited to send their contributions and they intend to offer the world a publication for their dissemination and contribute to the notoriety of their authors.

The first congress will last two days and invited presentations and selected works will be exchanged. At the end of each day, conclusions will be presented and on the last day those of the congress.
