Civil Engineering Week – Lima

The President of the IAEA, Prof. Dr. Fernando Rodríguez López, meets with the Rector of the Ricardo Palma University, Dr. Iván Rodríguez Chávez, accompanied by Dr. Manuel Prado, Academic of the Pan-American Academy of Engineering and Professor of said University .

The meeting took place during the Engineering Week in Lima during the month of November 2015. The academics discussed the figure of the 21st century engineer and architect and the challenge of risk management in professional services.

The Association is preparing, together with the Ricardo Palma University, some specialization courses on “Risk Engineering” and “Prevention of Occupational Risks”. These courses are scheduled for 2016 and will give engineers and architects the opportunity to consider the risks and avoid accidents.
